A specialist, not a generalist.

I'm Raul van der Zande, a software engineer focused on CI/CD and automated testing. Mekova started from one observation: teams build features faster than their delivery can keep up, and nobody owns the part in between.

So I deliberately do one thing: own a team's delivery pipeline and test automation and grow it. Not the whole cloud, not all of IT — but the route from pull request to production, and the tests that make that route reliable.

I work with a small number of teams at a time, each on a fixed day of the week. That way every team gets full attention, and there's time to keep the craft sharp.
